Fallout 3 Crash after an update? Mine started crashing after opening with an error about xlive.dll

You will see something to this effect in the details of the error:
Fault Module Name: xlive.dll
Exception Code: c0000138

I fixed it up updating the xlive.dll from Microsoft.
Go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=05013300-5d14-4dc9-9145-991ea1b8e4b0&displaylang=en

You will then download “xliveredist.msi”
Make sure to close all your games and then double click on it to install the application. After a reboot you should be good to go.
